Celebrating 150 Years in the Oil Industry
Northwestern Pennsylvania is the global birthplace of the oil industry. Our region’ s history with oil began in 1859 when Colonel Edwin L. Drake successfully drilled the first commercial oil well in Titusville, PA.
Today our region celebrates our oil history and oil heritage, as well as looks for opportunities to continue its long standing relationship with the oil and natural gas industry.
